GITEC-IGIP GmbH is a German consulting engineering company that was established in 1963. It was formerly known as GITEC Consult GmbH and IGIP Ingenieur-Gesellschaft für Internationale Planungsgesellschaft mbH, which merged in 2022. Since its foundation, the company has been active worldwide, particularly in South-East Europe, Asia, Central America, Latin America and Africa, working with developing countries. The group’s unique approach involves offering integrated services that cover all relevant sectors to ensure the efficient delivery of projects for the benefit of its clients. The company and its associated companies (the GITEC-IGIP Consulting Group) combine resources and expertise to provide a comprehensive range of environmental and social engineering services for public and private projects. The following are our four business areas:
- Water and Sanitary Engineering: Urban and Rural Water Supply, Sanitary Engineering and Irrigation;
- Health and Social Infrastructure: transport; construction of roads, schools, training centres, and housing schemes; health services, including the design and construction of health facilities, hospitals, and laboratories.
- Climate and Natural Resources: conservation and management of natural resources and the environment, and climate change.
- Waste and Energy: Design, construction and operation of solid waste and waste-to-energy facilities.
