The International Water, Waste & Infrastructure (IWWI) is being held for the fourth time at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo and is recognised as a key platform for solutions in the water, waste and infrastructure sectors. Organised by expotec International GmbH in cooperation with the Holding Company for Water and Wastewater (HCWW), it brings together key decision-makers in the industry, including water utilities, industrial companies, consultants, engineers and government representatives. The focus is on modern technologies for water and wastewater treatment, waste management and sustainable urban infrastructure, particularly with regard to MENA and Africa. The exhibition is complemented by conferences and seminars with international experts.

German Water Partnership at the German Pavilion

German Water Partnership will be represented at the IWWI International Water, Waste & Infrastructure from 26 to 28 October 2026 in Cairo as part of the German Pavilion.

In addition, German Water Partnership will contribute three expert sessions to the IWWI conference programme on current topics in the water sector:

• Smart Water Infrastructure – From Measurement and Monitoring to Data-Driven Operation
• Climate-Resilient Water Infrastructure – Rehabilitation, Reliable Sewer Systems and Water Security
• From Wastewater to Resources – in cooperation with the AHK Egypt
