From June 2 to 6, 2025, AHK Mexico is organizing a business initiation trip to Mexico on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) and in cooperation with German Water Partnership e. V. (GWP). This project-related funding measure is part of the Environmental Technologies Export Initiative and is being carried out as part of the market development program for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The target group is primarily small and medium-sized German companies (SMEs).

Participation

A maximum of 12 companies can take part in the business initiation trip to Mexico City and Monterrey. The business initiation trip within the framework of the Market Development Programme (MEP) is aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), self-employed persons in the commercial sector as well as specialized freelance professions and business-related service providers with business activities in Germany (companies) with a corresponding industry focus and range of services.

The companies’ own contribution for participation in the project is (depending on the size of the company)

• EUR 500 (net) for participants with an annual turnover of less than EUR 2 million and fewer than 10 employees
• EUR 750 (net) for participants with an annual turnover of less than EUR 50 million and fewer than 500 employees
• EUR 1,000 (net) for participants with an annual turnover of more than EUR 50 million or more than 500 employees
