German – Sri Lankan Water Conference 2022
German Water Partnership and the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Sri Lanka (AHK Sri Lanka) is cordially inviting you to the German – Sri Lankan Water Conference on 28 June 2022, from 10:00 to 12:00 at Ms-Teams.
During the virtual Conference, three German experts will present their technologies and the latest trends in the water sector with the goal to establish long-lasting partnerships with industry representatives and public authorities from Sri Lanka.
This Conference is part of the German – Sri Lankan Water Week within the framework of the German Export Initiative Environmental Technologies of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).

German – Sri Lankan Water Week 2022
Within the framework of the Export Initiative for Environmental Technologies by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV), the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Sri Lanka (AHK Sri Lanka), in cooperation with German Water Partnership e.V. is organizing a Know-How Transfer Initiative on the topic of capacity building in the field of (waste)water management in Sri Lanka starting in the year of 2022. The initiative aims at fostering the transfer of expertise and strives to build capacities within Sri Lanka´s National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) with the objective to accelerate the development of a sustainable drinking water supply and sewage system in the country. In addition to an integrated online conference with decision-makers from the public sector and digital site visit to a selected water treatment plant in Sri Lanka, the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Sri Lanka will, under the supervision of German consultants, which provide know-how and insights from their respective areas of expertise within the (waste)water Management sector, facilitate a two-day online workshop embedded in the week of event as well as multiple online modules in the following weeks, to increase capacities in Sri Lanka´s National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB).
