Greendustrial Dialogues - German Water Partnership

Greendustrial Dialogues Egypt 2022 and India 2023

Building on the Industrial Water Compendium, the Greendustrial Dialogues bring together German companies in the industrial water sector with users in the target markets of Egypt (19-20 October 2022) and India (23-24 January 2023). The focus of the two-day event in each case is on strengthening a holistic approach to thinking about the treatment of industrial wastewater.

As a consortium, the participating German companies will present the efficiency and flexibility of the German water and wastewater sector: In exchange with representatives of the local industry, current challenges are discussed and solutions for the various industrial sectors are jointly developed.

The Greendustrial Dialogues are organised by German Water Partnership (GWP) with the Working Group Industrial Water Management in cooperation with the Regional Forum India and the Regional Forum North Africa and Jordan and are part of the Export Initiative for Environmental Protection (ExI), funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).

Local project partners are the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Cairo (AHK Egypt) and the German-Indian Chamber of Commerce (AHK India).

The Greendustrial Dialogues build on the findings of the Industrial Water Compendium, which GWP compiled as part of the global project of the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in support of the Environmental Technologies Export Initiative of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV).
