IFAT premiere in the Middle East: From January 26 to 28, 2026, IFAT Saudi Arabia will take place for the first time at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center, bringing together the most important players in the fields of waste, water and environmental technologies from the Middle East and North Africa.

For the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the trade fair is an important part of the government’s “Vision 2030” program, with which the country is increasingly investing in the sustainable development of the economy. This offers great growth potential for environmental technologies and the circular economy. Ambitious targets include: 91% of waste collected separately, 79% of waste prepared for recycling and 90% less landfill waste by 2040. In the water sector, desalination of seawater, expansion of water networks and construction of wastewater treatment plants and associated infrastructure to meet national needs will be implemented, while paying careful attention to the sustainable extraction and consumption of this valuable resource and protecting the Kingdom’s natural environment.
