We set standards

Since 1991, we have been supporting the digital planning, management and operation of wastewater facilities in federal properties. Our work ensures the quality of the consistency of data nationwide and facilitates exchange, comparability and usability. The maintenance and management of wastewater facilities posed enormous challenges for the state building offices of the Federal Republic of Germany. The solution provided by the ISYBAU action concept and subsequently the use of the sewer information system KanDATA (later BaSYS) from Barthauer Software GmbH set the tone for cost-effectiveness and efficiency in pipeline documentation. BARTHAUER’s multi-platform concept is the only one in the world that offers the possibility to choose the most suitable graphical interface for a task and the right database management system for central data storage with a uniform user interface. A highlight is that even the graphic definitions of plan configurations are contained and verified in the central database. Thanks to the flexible integration of BARTHAUER products with GIS and CAD systems from leading manufacturers such as Autodesk, Bentley, Bricsys, Esri or Hexagon, along with support for database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, as well as the connection of the open source applications QGIS and PostgreSQL offers clients the greatest possible freedom of choice and investment security.
