Ethiopia and Uganda are developing rapidly in the area of water and wastewater treatment. Both economies are experiencing growth in food processing to supply the growing urban areas. With an increasing industrialization (e.g. food processing) and growing urban areas, companies are actively seeking energy-efficient water treatment processes. In both Ethiopia and Uganda, environmental authorities continue to demand higher standards for wastewater discharge. Companies must look for solutions that will bring their installations and practices up the regulators requirements.

In this webinar, we will introduce recent developments in the water and wastewater market in both Ethiopia and Uganda with the aim to gain insights into the chances and possible issues and provide information about the upcoming business delegation trip from October 7th to 11th 2024 within the Foreign Market Development Program for SMEs (supported by the German Ministry for Economic Development and Climate Action – BMWK).
