Online Roundtable on Energy Efficiency in the Water and Sanitation Sector in Senegal
As water supply and wastewater disposal represent energy-intensive services, improving energy efficiency in the water and sanitation sector is crucial for meeting future energy demands and to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. The roundtable provides a platform for the exchange of know-how and new developments in the context of water, sanitation and related energy saving potentials in Senegal. It also stresses business opportunities for the (German) private sector in these areas, outlines current investment programs and best practices.
The Roundtable is jointly organized by German Water Partnership (GWP) and the German Federal Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW).
The programme will be moderated by Julia Braune, Managing Director at GWP.
You can expect exciting presentations, including from the Senegalese Ambassador in Berlin, from our dear partner, the African Water Association in Abidjan, and the European Investment Bank office in Dakar.
The event will be held in English.
