German Water Partnership e.V. (GWP) would like to invite you to join a high-level engagement workshop to exchange experiences, highlight opportunities for future collaboration and network with relevant project partners within the field of Industrial Wastewater Treatment.

As part of the wider ‘export initiative’ led by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (Bundesministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und nukleare Sicherheit (BMU)) to strengthen bilateral collaborations in the field of industrial wastewater treatment between India and Germany, the GWP is in the process of producing the ‘Industrial Water Compendium’. The compendium will serve as a guide for practitioners, decision makers and technology providers alike, highlighting trends in industrial wastewater treatment, environmental policy, needs of top-tier industrial sectors as well as presenting best practice examples of successful technology implementation in the regions.

In line with the focus of the compendium, the purpose of the workshop is:

• to bring together key players and stakeholders in industrial wastewater treatment
• to have an open exchange about present needs, opportunities, and future trends
• to share learnings on successful technology implementation

In a compact format, speakers will share expertise on current and future needs, regional particularities, and learnings from existing success stories. The workshop will take place in the form of an online webinar, providing the opportunity for experts from around the globe to join in.

The workshop will bring together:

• Managers, owners, and operators of industrial water treatment sites
• German environmental technology companies
• Policymakers
• International technology and business experts
