KICK-OFF WEBINAR FOR THE WORLD BANK GROUP GERMANY ROADSHOW
How German Companies Can Benefit from the World Bank Group’s Procurement Reforms
19 March 2026 | 14:00 – 15:30 | Online
With procurement opportunities worth approximately USD 11 billion annually, projects of the World Bank Group (WBG) offer numerous possibilities for international contracts. Over the past year, the WBG has reformed its procurement processes, placing greater emphasis on quality criteria and expanding market dialogue prior to tenders. The implementation of these reforms is creating new opportunities for German companies to successfully participate in WBG project tenders.
In this webinar, WBG experts will provide an overview of the key procurement reforms and present concrete market opportunities for German companies. In addition, representatives from companies will share their practical experiences and provide insights into successful strategies for participating in WBG projects.
The English-language webinar is organized by the Agency for Business & Economic Development (AWE), Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), and the World Bank’s Berlin Office. It serves as the kick-off event for a nationwide WBG roadshow, during which sector-specific events in various German cities will further deepen the exchange between the WBG and German companies.
