ATLANTIS – German solutions for Egyptian water and wastewater projects
The “ATLANTIS” project uses selected sewage treatment plants in Egypt as an example to investigate how these can become centers for raw material and energy recovery, with the result that the treated water can not only be discharged into the environment without hesitation, but also in terms of effective resource utilization. The final workshop of the “ATLANTIS” project on 18 October 2022 at the Cairo Water Week is intended to show the holistic solutions “Made in Germany” for modern and sustainable municipal wastewater treatment coupled with concepts of energy and raw material recovery.
