Virtual Index of Members

The Virtual Index of Members (VIoM) is the German Water Partnership’s new digital platform.

It brings together members, their areas of expertise, and their products and services in one central location – organised, interconnected and accessible worldwide.

But the VIoM is more than just a directory:
It highlights how stakeholders in the German water sector work together – and how individual areas of expertise come together to form comprehensive solutions.

See how a strong network is transformed into a digital platform – and discover new opportunities for collaboration.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Why does VIoM exist?

The German water management sector represented by GWP forms a strong, diverse network.
However, this diversity and the associated expertise have so far only been visible in isolated instances.

VIoM creates a new approach here:

  • It brings together knowledge, experience and services
  • It highlights connections
  • It facilitates access to suitable partners and solutions

In this way, a network becomes a system that can be experienced digitally.

What does VIoM offer?

With VIoM, users can:

  • search specifically for companies, technologies and services
  • find suitable contacts
  • quickly gain an overview of expertise
  • initiate new partnerships

For members, this means:

  • greater visibility at national and international level of their services
  • new opportunities for collaborations and projects

Who is VIoM aimed at?

VIoM is aimed at:

  • international partners and organisations
  • companies seeking solutions
  • political and institutional stakeholders
  • visitors to trade fairs such as IFAT

In short: anyone interested in innovative solutions for water management.

When will the VIoM be available?

The VIoM will go live during the launch event at IFAT on 4 May 2026 at 11.30 am. It will then be available online here on our website to anyone interested.
