Field of expertise: As Junior Project Manager, Lucie König supports various international programs through activities and measures of foreign trade promotion at German Water Partnership as well as the area of public relations.

Background: Lucie König completed her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Law in Jena and Budapest. During her master’s degree in European and Interantional Politics in Innsbruck, she focused on climate and environmental policy. Through an internship at GIZ she gained first experiences in development cooperation and a particular interest in water was sparked, which ultimately led her to German Water Partnership.

Language skills: German, English, French

Water means to me: Water is the basic element of life. The scarcity of this indispensable good poses great challenges for the world. At the same time, sustainable management offers opportunities for international cooperation, development and peace.
