Career: Doreen Gidde previously worked for 23 years as assistant to the managing director in the capital office of the Association of German Mechanical and Plant Engineering (VDMA).

Water means to me: Humans can survive only three to four days without water. This alone says a lot about the importance of water. It is necessary to use water responsibly and to protect its availability and quality on earth.
