German-African exchange of experts in the water and sanitation sector.

Register now and join us for the first session of our new “Ask the Experts” series on November 11th, 11:00-13:00 (CEWT). This time, we will adress the issue of “Decontamination of Water (Heavy Metals, Arsenic & Manganese)”.

To kick off the series, Gunda Röstel, Chairwoman of GWP Board of Directors will give a welcome speech. The event will be moderated by Sylvain Usher, Managing Director of AfWA.
For the first session, the expert panel is composed of Dr. Seydou NIANG (LATEU), Dr. Dirk Steinhilber (LANXESS), Dr. Stéphane Claon (LAQUE) and Eng. Mathias Stief (PWT Wasser und Abwasser GmbH).

“Ask the Experts” is a series of events launched by GAPWAS (German African Partnership for Water and Sanitation), the chamber and association partnership between German Water Partnership and AfWA. The format aims to establish long-term relationships and regular exchange of technical expertise and experiences between GWP and AfWA members.
For the individual sessions, focal points have been identified on which German and African experts will give joint presentations. In the process findings, case studies and research results will be shared.
Following the presentations, participants will have the opportunity to exchange opinions and ask for advice from speakers and other stakeholders in a discussion.
