Field of expertise: As GAPWAS Project Officer since December 2024, Alexandre Kanga is responsible for supporting the implementation of the German Partnership Water and Sanitation project within the framework of the collaboration between the African Water and Sanitation Association (AfWASA) and German Water Partnership (GWP). In parallel, he has been serving as Data and Strategy Manager at AfWASA for over two years, focusing on data-driven decision-making and strategic planning for the association.

Carreer: Alexandre Kanga currently works as a GAPWAS Project Officer, contributing to international cooperation in the water and sanitation sector. Additionally, he has been the Data and Strategy Manager at AfWASA for more than two years, where he plays a key role in optimizing data management and developing strategic insights for the association. His expertise spans project coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and strategic data management. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bioforce certificate in Project Management and Monitoring & Evaluation. He is fluent in French and has a good understanding of English.
