IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition
The IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition is the leading global event for water and allied professionals, covering the entire water cycle. Organized every two years by the International Water Association, it brings together thought leaders, decision-makers, researchers, and business innovators from across and beyond the water sector to shape the future of water. Following a successful 2024 edition in Toronto, the 15th Congress will take place in Glasgow in 2026, welcoming around 10,000 participants from around the world.
The event offers a comprehensive technical programme curated by a global expert committee, featuring presentations, workshops, and poster sessions that showcase the latest knowledge and innovations. This is complemented by keynote speeches, panel discussions, leadership forums, technology showcases, and an integrated trade exhibition, ensuring strong impact and value for all participants.
Participants include representatives from utilities, academia, government institutions, NGOs, technology providers, consultancies, media, and related sectors such as agriculture, urban planning, ICT, and finance. While global in scope, each edition highlights regional expertise—making Glasgow 2026, supported by the UK water sector, a unique platform for international exchange and for showcasing UK leadership in water.
Further information about the conference program can be found on the IWA website.
