AQUATECH Amsterdam is the world’s leading trade fair for water technologies focussing on process, drinking and waste water. The event brings together experts from industry, research and politics every two years and is regarded as a central platform for innovation, knowledge transfer and international networking.

In 2025, the trade fair presented around 900 exhibitors and attracted over 25,000 trade visitors from more than 140 countries. The extensive supporting programme included the InnovationLAB, the Bluetech Research Innovation Pavilion, numerous specialist conferences with over 350 speakers and the Integrated Leaders Forum.

Four theme worlds – Clean Water, Waste Water & Resources, Industrial Water and Digital Water – formed the thematic framework. A special highlight was once again the Holland Innovation Park with visionary start-ups from the Netherlands. The ‘AquaMatch’ matchmaking platform and social events such as the AquaRun rounded off the trade fair experience.

A joint German stand will be realised for the first time at AQUATECH Amsterdam 2027. As part of the International Trade Fair Programme (AMP) for SMEs, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) and in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA), German companies will have the opportunity to present themselves to an international audience within the German Pavilion under the strong umbrella brand ‘made in Germany’.
