Field of expertise: Tanja Meurer supports the team in the areas of communication and events.

Background: Tanja Meurer recently graduated with a Master’s degree in Global Studies from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. Through her focus on sustainable development and conflict resolution she was introduced to water as a political issue. Seeing as resource politics had already been a focal point of her undergraduate studies in Political Science, she decided to further pursue water policy by completing an internship with GIZ. She is looking forward to expand upon these insights during her time with German Water Partnership.

Language skills: German, English, French

Water means to me: Safe and open access to clean water is the basis of life and also a human right. It is my personal goal to actively support it’s global realisation through my work.
