The Stadtentwässerung Dresden GmbH (Dresden urban drainage ltd.) provides services in the fields of waste water treatment, environmental analysis and the planning and building of sewage plants. Among others the group encompasses the central treatment plant Dresden-Kaditz and the city’s sewer system, stretching over 1.850 km.

Our operations expand beyond the city limits of Dresden: We reach 670.000 clients in the area of Eastern Saxony in the context of sewage transfer pipelines and company tours.

Focal Points:

The modern treatment plant Dresden-Kaditz is a contact point for many national and international delegations. We develop solutions and new approaches on a global level for regions with insufficient drinking water supply and sewage disposal. Moreover, there has been a close cooperation with the Excellence University Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research and the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems for many years.

In our view, these are some of the international community`s most important aims in the new millennium.

Presently, the Stadtentwässerung Dresden GmbH is operating in Vietnam, Jordan and the Ukraine.
