AfWA develops programs that Members fully benefit from such as:

AfWA does organize:
- Congresses every two years that thousands of delegates
- Technical sessions by its Scientific & Technical Council (STC) every four or six months
- Master classes every six months
- Workshops, online-seminars panel on specific issues, etc….

- Corporate Members: Organizations, establishments, or utilities operating in the drinking water, sanitation and environment sector in Africa.
- Affiliate Members: Organizations operating in the drinking water, sanitation and environment sector at national, continental, or international levels.
- Individual Members: Individuals comprised of academic practitioners, researchers, sector and other professionals, retired individuals, students, and persons whose work and interests are related to the drinking water, sanitation and environment sector.
