Central Asia

The regional section establishes and maintains contacts with Central Asian institutions and companies, participates in trade fairs and organizes trips and conferences in order to accelerate the business development of German companies and water management institutions in the region. We are interested in collaboration and cooperation with local institutions and companies and are happy to provide you on request with further information about our association and our members.

GWP has signed memoranda of understanding with various local institutions and organisations: with the JSC SPA Eurasian Water Center Astana, the Central Asian Institute of Applied Geosciences (CAIAG), Bishkek and the Association of the Public Water Works of Mongolia.

The target countries of the regional section are: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
