Field of expertise: As advisor for Trade fairs & Events, Claudia Niemann oversees all measures within the framework of the foreign trade fair programme and is the contact person at the German Water Partnership for IFAT Munich.

Carreer: Claudia Niemann studied theatre, film and media studies, art history and psychology in Frankfurt am Main, Berlin and Bologna. For the past 12 years, she has worked in project and event management as well as press and public relations in scientific institutions such as the Union of the German Academies of Sciences and Humanities and in the film-based education and training sector. Before joining German Water Partnership, she was a senior consultant at the communications agency T-Base Consulting, where she was responsible for various projects, including the Solarcity Berlin master plan for the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Operations and the BLUE PLANET Berlin Water Dialogues for the Federal Ministry for the Environment and the Senate Department.

Language skills: German, English, French, Italian

Water means to me: To me, water is the most important global good that connects us all and whose secure availability must be urgently guaranteed for all, especially against the backdrop of the climate crisis. Water is alive and always in motion, water is my element.
